Isabelle Poirier

Isabelle danced for the Compagnie Marie Chouinard for eight years before becoming a rehearsal and touring artistic director. She currently remains freelance as a performer, rehearsal director and remount of Marie Chouinard's works for different companies and schools. In 2015 and 2016, she performed the remount of the solos Cartes postales de Chimère by Louise Bédard and Les Choses dernières by Lucie Grégoire and participated in the writing of Boîtes chorégraphiques of these works for the Fondation Jean-Pierre Perreault. A graduate of ADMMI with a major in art history from the Université de Montréal, she now teaches at Concordia University and is an artistic advisor for the graduates of the École de danse contemporaine de Montréal, Rhodnie Désir, Anne Plamondon and James Viveiros. She is currently dancing for Ariane Boulet, Lucie Grégoire and Aurélie Pedron.
