Aurélie Ann Figaro

Trained in classical dance at the Académie du Ballet Métropolitain and in traditional Haitian dance at her mother's institute Shérane Figaro (Aurée Danse Création), Aurélie also graduated from the École de Danse Contemporaine de Montréal in 2022. This allowed her to deepen her curiosity about the potential of the human body. In parallel to her training, she works with internationally renowned choreographers such as Édouard Lock (Propulsion) and Sylvain Émard Danse (Les Préludes). Ancestrality, eclecticism, identity, crossbreeding and versatility guide Aurélie in her career as a performer until her first collaboration with RD Créations for the piece MWON'D.
