BOW'T MEXICO

BOW'T-MEXICO is the 6th edition of BOW'T TRAIL.

Year of research and creation: 2018
World premiere: 2018, Centre Veracruzano de las Artes Hugo Arguelles (Mexico)

With a powerful, feminist voice, Yesenia García León and Rhodnie Désir join forces to denounce the historical erasure of Afro-descendence in Mexico. In the intimate studio in the heart of Veracruz, the audience feels every gesture and movement of this moving moment. In BOW'T-Mexico, these women anchor themselves in the present, and also speak on behalf of the forgotten who fall victim to cartel bullets and discrimination.
